New Tournament ???

hi everyone.

tournament ends soon and i think must be new tournament.
hmm.. maybe BS ?? 3v3 ?? but i think it was great to do something new.
maybe edited maps ?? Look at this :

But... i don't know, who wants a tournament with editing the maps? this maps is good ??
I can edited a-b and another maps. But, u wants ?? or not ?? please comment here

I would rather to do tournament, where everyone´s gonna play matches in RD, VIP, BS. Or python´s only (Satan of pythons doesn´t eat bullets so much ), just something what we didn´t play yet. And yes, new maps or modified would be usefull. Then noone would care if you´re 1.1 or 1.0 and would be new experience.

Yes a new tournament is bs would be cool.

I like the maps but i think foodwal ha's gotten to complecated , to easy for dodging nade's hide is super easy MORE CAMP possible ... i prefer old foodwal whit his old spawns and old items.

In fairfax to me it diden't chage much cuz its small map anyway and most will be same for dodging etc etc , in begin when you entere the home trow a nade at the wall and hide ? lol ppl will trow behind and its just an obstacle to hide from nade's ....

We could try it, but because here are mainly VIP and RD clans, I think it would be boring for them. After proposals we should make a poll about it. And I wouldn´t let be maps same as now. Really boring + advantage for BS clans. (I don´t really care, depends on poll)

hmm why we need to use new maps on bs tourny but not on rd or vip tourny? >.<

as a bs player i had never played rd war except 2010 tourny and this years tourny. so i think some other have huge advantage on me and my team but we havent whined about it.

most important for me is keeping swat community alive at some level with these tournys.

My opinion:
- if BS then new maps, either remade from original maps or brand new pieces, there is plenty of them available. BS itself is boring for me - pure ego game.
- but I would rather see a S&G or even SSF mod (no matter which game mode) tournament - that would only be a brand new experience. But thats far more difficult to organize due to technical issues.

1 year ago i created my own map pack, with same map's but other's resp's. Evryone had +3/4 resp on map's, and no one could resp other's on 3on3 (maybe it's possible, but when we was testing that, it was really difficiult, coz opponents were in other's place, and noone even can kill them).

If anyone wanna test it, I can find these map's, but as I saw => lot of swat 4 player dont like it, coz they know resp and they know how block/resp opponent's, and they dont like fight in open combat.

I think it´s just because this idea came too late. I would prefer new maps everywhere. There are some nice maps, but they have no idea and because of that I feel boring to play them.

Many clans here also never did. But because of this I find as more fine and "funny".

Here you can see many players find BS as a boring mod after so many years of playing it.

Yes. There already was one S&G tournament, organised by FA. Unfortuantely, because SWAT4 is made to 3 games, its really hard to organise it. Players also being inactive in TSS. You must download it or buy it. There is just too many complications.

Yes. It´s caused by very usefull and important tactic in SWAT4 - Spawnkill. I also like to use it a lot and I don´t have anything against it. There is one option - just make spawns a bit else, make them better - for example, not like in A-Bomb, where 2 nades rape full spawn.

IF WILL BE BS TOURNAMENT, i suggest to make players registration as like in CB cups to avoid mixing of multi-team players and to avoid problems with UAC multi accounts.

In that case every player should be registered here.

Also I prefer to make 2vs2 to make it more attractive for inactive teams. I played only 1 BS match in my life, but as I know 2vs2 should be fine for this game mode. what thisnks BS players?

About new maps they can be too much buggy so should be tested properly before being used here, also publiced long long time before tournament starts

If will nice tournament BS on new maps. I think the editing maps for RD/Vip

Yes. If my maps will finished. I test with : 1 Tpa and me, one WM, one Seal, And two hmm another people. this is no problem man.. but i must good edit new maps

For me to many new things => funny thing is that, a Abomb night club have inside some car's (1 is in 1:3 scale). If you wanna do something good with map's, create new's coz total editing old maps is a total mistake (for me). You can try to change on old maps some small things (resp's, bugged place = i know it, coz i also edited maps). You dont have to add milion new items to kick out resp, you can just change position of default player's : )

I will try to put my map's on our serwer, and then evryone who will download, can check it.


@ 1) also for me i prefer 3n3+ game's, coz 2n2 is quite a boring
2) and we should use 1-2-2-2-2-1 method ===> it could be more intresting to play on other's map then abomb, fw, wp. ; )

i dont see any sence in editing maps.
u can add spawn protector if its ur consern.

means picking out maps from list.
they give u full list of all maps and each team removes maps in that order.
whatever 2 maps are left will be played.

you mean in 1 match or in tournament? Like it was on CB, that on every round was choosed maps to play?

also i was thinking to make short matches, that every team can play few each day when they have time

If spawns is problem then new maps woulden't solve this cuz as bs player myself we will test the spawn and can still do it so it dump do do it better take old maps then ;P.

It´s not only about Spawnkill. It´s about having a bit more fun playing new maps instead of old, overplayed ones
