| Hey,
is it possible to play play-off matches on our servers? Maybe team 1 map on server of team 1, team 2 map on server of team 2...
My members got 120 pings or even over 300 and hard lags on tournament servers.

| You need to complain for own provider not for servers. I had same problems on Germany and Czech servers before I changed connection. Unfortunately a lot of providers is overloaded and that the reason to high ping. Try make test on few locations and that will give you answer if you need look for new provider net.    WM used that hoster either for own public server and usually poeple from Germany had ping around 30-40 and in some case even lower. I "clean" my pc System Mechanic version 10.1.2.96 and I need to say that also help me decrease my ping around 5-10 ms | |

| well, lets compare pings of 2 KL players from tournament srever (4life and ^1 aka Freddy) and KL srver screen from KL server: https://2img.net/r/ihimg/m/836/5094/beztytuusfp.jpgbut im waiting for SoE reply (i cant make decision). We agreed before to play war at |FUN| server, we didnt played there just because they didnt configured server properly (mark mod, skins etc.). Anyway I used to think you and KL are serious people (with some little exceptions), it had to be so simple, just to play and post scores :/ | |

| I´m talking about ND server not KL, but I see too much hostility towards us/me, so no worries.. oh and michal no need to explain me what ping means.. I know Hunter has bad provider, but I´m talking about myself.. I sometimes needed like 20 bullets to kill and that was because I had 10-20 paketloss on this server.. As far as I know packetloss is serversided not clientsided..

Packet loss is neither client-side nor server side. It all depends on the route that the packets takes through the network. You can have the best ISP in the world and still suffer from packet loss if the route that the packets take from the client to the server (and vice versa) is not ideal. - Michal wrote:

Measuring ping that way can be misleading. The numbers you get from those kinds of tests are an average over a period of time, which means that you can still have lag-spikes that make it impossible to play, but that won't show up in the tests because they are averaged out over time. Also no matter how great your ISP is, if you don't live close enough to the server, you will never get a good enough ping to play because the delay is just too great. Having that said, I don't think changing the servers used in the middle of the tournament is a good idea, it'll just be more work and won't be very fair as I'm sure we're not the only ones with less than ideal ping. Playing on the current servers is fine. We're playing for the fun of it anyway right? It'll be an interesting match no matter what servers we play on.  | |

| yeah guys.
if we want make proffesional tournament, lets find sponsors for LAN one somewhere in europe :]
and its not about hostility. you had guys time to test it when servers were unlocked. I saw only 2 teams playing fun war at them before tournament started to test them. | |
