playing 5vs5 and 6vs6, referee was in a minute, but had to go after 2-3 rounds so I setp all later.

Congratulations SOE. We started very nervous and screwed up in our first map... I think we needed some more "war practice". (and less software bullshit problems before the match starts!!)

It was a good game, fair result, (5-3 btw) but i strongly dislike the referee situation... i mean, we know eachother from playing in your 1.0 server, so there is some kind of mutual knowledge, but it is not acceptable that one player from one team is doing the admin/referee functions at the same time he's participating. As I said, there was no problems and the game went on to be as correct as it can be: no questions, no doubts, no insults, no acusations. But what if in our next match the same referee situation comes up? And what if things aren't as peaceful as they were today?

PimpMyGun, I honestly aprecciate your work and effort in putting this tournament up and running, but please be careful with these referee situations... maybe a penalty to the referee's team would be a good way to make them stay and do theyr important part in these matches. Rules aren't perfect (i don't agree with the spawnkillin' but i have to live with it) and you know that discussions can rise in the middle of a match... so let's try to avoid similar situations in the future.

Once again, congratulations SOE, and good luck to all the organization staff.

u are right destroyer, but fortunatelly we didnt have problem, ofc on next match it will be solved, this is the first week so had to test referees too!

good idea with penalties to referee team, but what kind of penalty - someone have any idea?

It is hard to say because a lot of things can happen and some referee rly will be cant apear. Anyway maybe we should after 2 this kind situation just remove some points team. Referee should atleast inform before match start he cant be there.

Anyway - if referee not come - both team members can referee, if they dont mind. Also you can find someone at x-fire to referee!

Pls contact also with referee before match to make shure that he will be on time.

Puziol, if that's what happened, please let all the players know before you leave the match! You said something to PimpMyGun I think, and then left... i don't even know what language you were speaking, so it's hard to understand what you said. Beeing the referee, you should have justified your exit in english so all the players could understand! (and we obviously understand that kind of reasons, no one would blame you for going to the hospital!! and we all hope everything's fine with your dad!)

PimpMyGun, i think that a 1 lost round penalty would be a good solution for referees that don't show up without prior notice. Of course that games are now running so maybe you could only start this rule in the quarter finals... but hey, it's just a suggestion. Quarter, semi and final matches are the most important, and most likely the ones with a closer result, so one round can make a difference.

at play-offs ill place most responsibple referees as it will be possible, so Im sure that situations like that will have no place
